ACCELERATED WOLF!

Our new program to allow your teenager to join the Ancestral Skills students.

With the introduction of the Ancestral Skills Apprenticeship program, we have been receiving inquiries as to how a student could enroll without achieving that level three in the Wolf.  Our answer is the Accelerated Wolf program.  This program is being designed for the teenager who with the help from a parent or adult, can work at home and with email correspondence to Quiet Heart, they can obtain the necessary knowledge and skills to join the Ancestral Skills students.  This program is soon to be available.  Contact our office for further information.

ONGOING PROGRAMS!

OWLE program

OWLE is our day long Friday and Saturday program, it presently has ten to fourteen students each day, sharing responsibilities as a tribe.  We play together, learn together and do chores together.  We learn how to build emergency shelters, make primitive arrows, collect pitch from conifers for glue, how to make a fire pit, and build and maintain a fire.  Then there is lunch, learning to cook over a fire, that’s another new experience.  What fun!  The core teachings of the OWLE program are about responsibility, respect, team building and problem solving.  This unique program for 8 to 15 year old students begins on September 19th for the Friday tribe in Woodinville and on the 20th for the Saturday tribe back in Edmonds.  We will be at camp every week throughout the fall through the second weekend of December, except the weekend after Thanksgiving.  Rain or shine we will be there from 10 am to 4 pm.  The tuition for the season is $540.  Four monthly payments of $135 are acceptable.  For more information on OWLE, email us at QuietHeartExpress@comcast.net .  Call or email to reserve your spot for either the Friday or Saturday program.

PRESCHOOL CURRICULUM

We are pleased to announce that our preschool curriculum designed for 3- to 5-year-olds is growing.  We have brought in Dawn and Laura to begin teaching the curriculum in other schools.  This program was created to follow the seasons and the calendar with a Montessori attitude toward learning.  The fact that this program was designed to come into a existing preschool situations, we are always looking for invitations to come to your preschoolers classroom.  Added to your preschooler's existing program, this will open their eyes and minds to the view of a naturalist.  There is classroom time available for your young naturalist’s preschool or group.  Please contact our office, if you or your preschool is interested in more information, or for a copy of our detailed course outline.

COMING OF AGE

Looking for a unique birthday gift for your preteen wilderness student? Quiet Heart has been offering and performing "Coming of Age" outings for boys and girls for the past four years. These ceremonies are custom-designed for your child or group. Overnight outings take place on a private farm in Arlington. For references or more information, please contact our office by email or at 425-478-3494.
